Terms of use

These terms apply to your use of Nexus (the web portal) and the related staff mobile application (such as Mediqas) made available by ApexMedix for your organisation’s tenant workspace. By signing in you agree to these terms together with the privacy policy.

Contact: dpo@apexmedix.net

Who may use the service

Access is for authorised staff and administrators invited or provisioned by your organisation. You must use your own credentials, keep them confidential, and not share your account. You must be legally able to enter into these terms in your jurisdiction.

The service is a business workforce tool. It is not directed at children and must not be used by anyone under the minimum working age applicable in your country unless your organisation expressly authorises supervised use.

What the service provides

Nexus and the staff mobile app let your organisation manage rostering, shift attendance, compliance workflows, documents, and related operational features configured for your tenant. ApexMedix provides the software platform; your organisation decides which modules are enabled and what operational rules apply to staff.

The app is not a medical device and does not provide clinical diagnosis or treatment. Medicine and equipment modules support operational record-keeping your organisation configures; they do not replace professional clinical judgement or statutory obligations your organisation already has.

Acceptable use

  • Enter accurate information and use features only for legitimate work purposes authorised by your organisation.
  • Do not attempt to bypass security, access another tenant’s data, or interfere with the service.
  • Do not upload unlawful, harassing, or malicious content.
  • Comply with your organisation’s policies and any laws that apply to your role.

Mobile app: location and device features

If your organisation enables mobile clock-in, the app may request device location when you clock in or out so attendance records can include where you were. Location is optional where the operating system allows you to deny permission; your organisation may still require on-site attendance by other means. Biometric unlock, if enabled, uses your device’s secure enclave only and does not send biometric data to ApexMedix servers.

Accounts and termination

Your organisation controls staff accounts in Nexus. If you need access removed or employment data deleted, contact your organisation first. ApexMedix will assist your organisation as processor where contractually required. You may sign out of the mobile app at any time to end the session on that device.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, or factors outside our control may cause downtime. We may update the software or these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided to your organisation on an “as is” basis to the extent permitted by law. ApexMedix is a freelance software provider supplying Nexus to tenant organisations; it is not a registered company. To the extent permitted by law, ApexMedix is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales unless your organisation’s agreement with ApexMedix specifies otherwise. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction subject to mandatory consumer or employment protections that apply to you.
